Road tripping - day 1

Our trip to Disney World started with a FULL car.   We headed out on our way to New Orleans.  

 Our first stop was the San Jacinto Battleground and Battleship Texas site.  In true Wenck fashion, we stopped, took pictures and had a picnic.

 This was our attempt at a family photo....Christian is somewhere behind his brother.

 Picnic at Battleship Texas complete.  Then we headed on to New Orleans.  In New Orleans we had dinner with Grama Ann, Don and his daughter Cindy and her family.   Grama Ann is Jack's mom.

 While in NOLA we had coffee and beignets at Morning Call.  They were both fantastic!!!!!

That blue goop you see on Christian's hand is called flarp.  Both the boys had some from Gran in their goodie bags.  

 We had a lot of fun with the flarp, until it went just a little to far.  It got stuck in one little boys hair and almost didn't come out.

 He even used it as ear plugs...oh my

 This group photo might be one of my favorites from the whole trip.   We were having fun!!!

 Cousins reunited and it feels so good!

Grama Ann and Don were very sweet to let us stay with them for the night.  One first day of road tripping was complete and we were ready for day two, which included a swamp tour!
