Fast Forward

Wow, can't believe it has really been almost 2 months since I last posted something on the blog.  Lots has happened since them.  I will try and catch up fast.

Great time in Vegas for the Tringo Smootle wedding.

Then came a super Fun Halloween

Then came a great Thanksgiving.  We were home and hosted family and some friends all weekend.  It was great.

Now here we are in December.  I attended my first holiday party with the ladies at the church (aka Church Chix).  We had a lively ornament exchange.  Seeing grown women steal cute ornaments, like frogs, snowmen, and hot pink fake christmas trees is something else.   Today was a dramatic portrayal of a "Not so silent night at the Church".  It was a different take on the birth of Jesus and very interesting.  Our cousin Shane had a prime role as a protector angel.  He was dressed like a super hero and that was a BIG hit with the boys.
Archer was slow to warm up to him, but once he saw it was Shane he took to calling him "Super Shane"
Here is Super Shane and the boys.

  Archer keeping his distance.

Our friends Foxy and his momma Krystal came to see the performance too.

Christian and Fox are good buddies.

Don't tell him about this season...he is still a BIG fan of "Hook 'Em"

Sorry for the delay in posting. I will try to be better with the holidays, but my computer is old and slow.  I have asked Santa for a new one, so we will see what happens.

VEGAS BABY!!!!! Part One - The Wedding

We just got back from a GREAT weekend in Vegas.   The reason for the weekend away was Tallie (my best buddy) was getting married to her South Austin Prince Charming, Jonathan.  Yes, that is two Jonathan's to join the "family" about 1 month.

We had a lot of fun getting ready together.

These are our super cool shoes.  Tallie wore blue suede shoes and me leopard.

We even both had blue toes for the event

I now pronounce you Man and Wife....

We have a new couple name for Tallie and Jonathan.
It is Tringo Smootle.
Tringo = Tallie + Ringo (That is what some of J's friends call him)
Smootle = Smith + Tootle.

If all the celebrity couples can have a cool combined couples name, well then Redneck, South Austin Folk can come up with something too.

It was a fun and sweet wedding.

It was a fabulous weekend all around.  Next post...ELVIS BABY!!!!

Fortress of Solitude

Superman made a tent in the living room this weekend too. He was very busy. Riding bikes, climbing trees, and building tents.

His little brother Green Lantern was allowed to come in for a visit too.

Park time

It was a fun time at the park this weekend.

This isn't Chris' old jeep the CJ7, but it will do in a pinch.

Big Boy Bike

Christian rode his bike all the way to the Big Park and all the way back.

He did great and didn't tire out.
Dad taught him how to stop and how to look out for cars.

More from Ted and Joe from the Office

Ted and Joe and their friend Nurse Betty have had more adventures.  Apparently Ted isn't happy with the recent office moves.  He has resorted to blackmail.

I demand to go back up front with all those pretty girls! I'm tired of sitting here looking at your face. Meet my demands, or the nurse gets it. The chocolate will explode, and she will be fondue. Fondue, I tell you. Fondue!

Sincerely,

Ted

What I want to be when I grow up

Archer is practicing composing musical scores for cartoons.

Brothers

If you have noticed in my recent posts (and pictures I have on facebook)
The capes in our house are getting a work out. Here the boys are playing at the church playground. Yes, we let them wear their capes to church....God is the ultimate super hero, so I think he would approve.

AWE! Brother hugs are the best!

Party time

Here is Christian with his friend Erin playing dress up as a recent birthday party.

Here are our friends Brooke and Addison. They used to be in school with the boys, but they moved to College Station and we miss them. They come back for a visit last weekend! It was so fun to see them and see how the girls have grown.

They are super buddies Super Rocky and Super Christian...in super capes, with super batman party favors.
