Birthday Fun

So I celebrated another birthday this year.  I'm trying not to focus on the year...or the BIG year that is coming up.

This year we had a few celebrations. One celebration was dinner with some family and friends at Santa Rita.
Here is our crew (minus Corrie -Landon's mom, she was our picture taker)
Going clockwise around the table (starting at 12) Jonathan, Chris, Me, Archer, Christian, Landon,  Grady, Corrie's seat, Cinda & Stacy (with Mason in belly).

We sat outside and the boys had some fun running around.

Jonathan always has to watch his back around this group.

Here is Sassy and little Mason.
She loved rubbing on my belly with the boys so I have to return the favor. He was hanging out on her left side that evening.
Awe, isn't she cute...she has that mommy to be glow.

Christian and I always had a celebration dinner with Gran, Pa and Aunt Madge the weekend before.

On Saturday night Chris and I went to dinner at Tratorria Lisina.  It was our first time at it was great.  A nice place for a special dinner and a great place for a fun dinner with lots of family and friends.

Dentist

Today was Archer's first dentist appointment. I was really unsure how he would do, but he did GREAT. He was able to watch Bubba, who is an old dentist pro. Then when Bubba was finished he was ready to jump in the chair and get his sugar bugs removed.

Birthday Wishes

Since we can't see Pa on his birthday we are sending our birthday songs via the world wide wed.

Pony Rides

Just about every year there are pony rides at the boys school.  Luckily this year our friend Landon's Daddy was there to take pictures.  They shared these with us.

Christian came home telling us it was so funny because his horse "pee'd and pooped" while he was riding it.  I'm thinking the funny face in this picture is because of that.

I think he liked it!  His teacher Miss Debbie was guiding him along the way on this ride.  Maybe sometime soon we will be ready for horse rides in Colorado.

more isms

Or more sayings from the Wenck boys.

Archer
"No!" this one is very popular now.  Whenever we ask him to do something this is his reply.
"Walk away!"  this is used when he is really upset and wants you to just leave him alone.
"get me outta here" - often heard when he is stuck some how.
"Actually...."  I am to blame for this one.....i guess I say this more than I thought.

Christian
"I'm smart about things" - he told me this on the way to work this morning
"I have a great idea", then there is "I have a greater idea" and then "Isn't that a great idea?"
"Actually..." see above

Happy St. Patrick's day

Here are my little lucky charms.

The little guy isn't feeling his Irish roots today...or he really doesn't like plaid.
Now Christian was really loving his clothes. He asked me what his shirt said. When I told him "totally charming..lucky charms" he said " cool it is the guy" meaning the guy from the cereal.
He also made me promise not to pinch him when I woke him up this morning because he didn't have green pj's.

Cousin visit

We were so excited to have a visit from our Houston cousins the Thames.  They were in town for spring break and stopped by for dinner and some play time.  It was great because Cameron is 4 (5 this fall) and as tall as Christian and all boy.  They had a great time playing outside with action heroes.  Did you know action heroes like to fly on to roofs and over fences?  yep, they do.
Little Miss Carissa is as cute as a bug and can out eat all the boys.  After dinner she walked around the table and ate off all their plates.  Archer was feeling under the weather so we all stayed at our house and just ordered take out and played outside.  It was a great evening.
