Our final day on the road was also Abigail's 10th birthday. She opened presents that morning at breakfast before we hit the open road.
More road trip art.
More road trip naps.
We took our time getting to Disney, but Sunday afternoon we finally arrived. We started out at Walmart to let everyone get groceries for the week, then off to the cabins. We stayed the week at Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins. Each family was in their very own cabin. After getting settled we all headed over to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. It was a fun way to start out Disney week and celebrate Abigail's 10th Birthday and Jack and Debbie's 16th Wedding Anniversary!
Archer thought it was a little bit loud, but otherwise liked it.
Abby received some special attention for her birthday
Jack and Debbie also received special attention for their anniversary
mmmm strawberry shortcake!
Then the kids got in on the art. They all were given washboards and spoons. You get the idea...LOUD!
Dad helped Archer on the loudness while Archer played his washboard
After our adventure at Hoop Dee Doo Revue we were determined to go shopping somewhere, anywhere so the kids could spend some of their riches from both grandparents. We also learned a few lessons about Disney transportation. #1 you never get anywhere FAST and #2 sometimes it takes a few transfers before you get to your desired destination. Well we finally made it to the Disney Boardwalk and the kids got some goodies.
These kids are ready for Disney!!!!
