Mary Kay Playdate

Today Mom and Christian both had a playdate. Mom's was with her Mary Kay Lady Roxy and Christian's was with one of his best buddies, Rocky...Roxy's son. So the mom's played with makeup and the boys played with most everything else.

Can you tell they are happy to see each other?

Christian knew for a few days that we were going to see Rocky. So when he woke up this morning I mentioned it and from that moment on, he didn't stop talking about it. We weren't planning to go over until 10:30, but Christian immediately got dressed after getting up at 8am. After he ate his breakfast he asked if it was time to leave yet. I said no, Mommy still needs to drink her coffee. Then he watched me drink my coffee, asking often if I was finished yet. Then when I wasn't drinking it, he would tell me to drink it. Then he told me to take a shower and get dressed.

I mentioned the Mommies got to play with make-up.

Here is Roxy's gift basket display. She has some really cute baskets put together. I did a little Christmas shopping as well as stocking up for myself.

Then it was time to go. The boys has so much fun playing together. They play together most every day at school, but still were so excited to see each other. I think Rocky is one of Christian's oldest friend. There was 3 little boys that all started in daycare together and have known each other since they were about 5 months old.

It was hugs all around when we left.

It was a fun playdate for everyone.

Rocky's birthday party

Rocky's birthday party finally came today. Christian has been excited and waiting for this party for weeks now. He picked out the presents and cards all by himself. Since Rocky is his best buddy he has a really good idea about what Rocky likes...Handy Manny and Lightin' McQueen.

The kids had lots of fun and we visited with all our daycare friends. Rocky's Mom is a teacher in the 1-2 year old room, along with one of her cousin and Rocky's Nona is Archer's teacher in the infant room and was Christian's teacher as well.

Here are the pictures from today. We almost had to drag Christian out of the bouncy house. We think he jumped for 2 of the 3 hours we were there. He took brief breaks to eat cake, hit the pinata and watch Rocky open presents.
