The Perfect Gift

Today was the children's christmas program at church.  The little, little kids (pre-school to 5) had a short program 1st.  It was called "the Perfect Gift".  It was very clever.  Our character (a teen from the church) is frustrated with Christmas and buying presents and the whole big deal. She gets on line to find "the perfect gift".  She finds a site claiming to have this "perfect gift" at no charge, one size fits all.    Before she has even clicked anything she hears a knock on her door.  It is the deliver man with her gift and instructions.

First she must have a "stable" environment.   Then she receives the top notch "marketing team" (aka the angels).


Then she receives the information gathering and distribution team (aka the shepherds)


Then she receives the team that has expertise in gift giving (aka the wise men).  The she receives those who will watch over the gift (Mary and Joseph).


Once the entire package is assembled she just waits for the baby.  Then the "delivery man" (another angel) comes to tell her that the perfect gift is Jesus. Pretty cute, huh?!?!?

We had a very protective shepherd on our hands.  About half way through, one of the wise men moved his little lamb and boy was Shepherd Christian upset.
