Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Life has been pretty calm, but that will soon some to an end. With St. Patrick's day and Easter coming up there should be more to blog about soon.
Here is Chris' Daddy update for today. To catch everyone up with this little story...I made Christian a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast. Actually I made us all grilled cheese sandwiches for breakfast. Christian's was cut into 4 pieces and put on a Lightin' McQueen (CARS) plate. He tried to carry the plate from the kitchen to the living room, but I was able to assist him to his little blue table near the kitchen. The following happened when Christian and Daddy headed off to school.
Ok.. So the grilled cheese didn't end with him going to the kitchen to get his sandwich. When it was time to go he grabbed his plate of grilled cheese and headed for the door. Somehow I managed to get his jacket on him before we got to the car. I was actually going to eat some of that grilled cheese so I put the plate of grilled cheese in the front seat and gave him a slice.
But, he demanded the entire plate of grilled cheese be in the back seat with him. During the car ride to school he knocked over the plate and grilled cheese went everywhere. "Oh NO!" could be heard around the neighborhood coming from our car.
Once we arrived at school he got down from his car seat and picked up the plate.. Then he proceeded to put his grilled cheese back on the plate and was going to take the entire thing to class. So, I told him he couldn't take the plate to school.. He ended up with one grilled cheese in each hand walking to class.
Upon entering class he sacrificed one grilled cheese to his Lightening McQueen lunchbox.. I told him he could save it for lunch... That left one grilled cheese for his teacher to deal with.. I promptly said good bye before his teacher could say anything about that grilled cheese in his hand. :)
Love,
Chris
