As a family we have joined hundreds of others throughout our area raising funds for the American Lung Association of the Central States and the fight against asthma. We have signed up as participants in the American Lung Association's Blow the Whistle on Asthma Walk scheduled for April 5, 2008 at The Shops at Arbor Trails in Austin. We have set a personal fundraising goal of $300.00 to help the Lung Association in its fight against asthma, and we would appreciate your support in helping us reach this goal.
Our little family is all to familiar with asthma. We know aobut the ER and hospital visits, the extra Dr. appts., and the once, twice or even more daily breathing treatments. Christian was officially diagnosised with asthma at 20 months and has been on breathing treatments since about January 2007. Even now his gets one to two treatments a day. He is a trooper, but I'm sure he would rather not have them.
Please join our whole family in our efforts to make a difference for the estimated 32,000 children and even more adults in our area who suffer from this life threatening disease.
