Out with the old, In with the new

Here is a brief timeline of our last week.

• Friday - friend from my office comes to get old entertainment center and TV. Over the weekend we lived with a 19 inch TV that was set up on a kid's train table. It looked like our old entertainment center had thrown up on our dining room table.
• Monday - 2 boxes of the furniture arrive. Chris starts to put them together. We realize that 2 pieces are damaged. So the backing to the extra piece still needs to be added.
• Tuesday - the rest of the furniture arrives. Chris comes home and I get boys. Chris starts to put furniture together. He starts at 4:30 and isn't done until close to 9pm. We are putting things in it until 10:30pm
• Wednesday - the TV arrives at 4pm. Pa puts up shelves in the office area (yea!) Oh yeah, Christian has a Dr. appt and has strep throat. (boo!) I pick up Archer from school to get him tested, he doesn't have strep throat (yea!). Chris get's Pa and Uncle JJ to help him put TV on the new center.
• Thursday (hasn't happened yet, but here is what I am hoping happens)...We pick up the house and move most everything that doesn't current have a new home to the garage until it can find a new home.
• Friday - (again, hasn't happened yet, but here is what I am hoping for)...I get off of work a little early and head to grocery store. I pick up Archer's birthday cake, fruit and snacks for party. I finish cleaning the house and getting ready for company before Memaw and DoDaddy arrive to have dinner.
• Saturday - ARCHER'S FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!! yea! and that is the happy ending we were hoping for when this week started.
