40 and fabulous

Debbie is leading the way into 40 and fabulous for us.  We were luck to celebrate her birthday here in Austin.  It was a weekend full of fun, sun and family.


Friday night started off eating dinner outside at Shady Grove.  We had the perfect table, far enough out of the way so the kids could be kids but close enough to the bar so the grownup could be grown up.  Jack surprised Debbie with 4 tickets to the Davis Cup tennis match on Sunday afternoon.  For a died in the wool tennis fan like Debbie this was a GREAT choice.

Saturday started with pool time!

Then dinner at Trattoria Lisina in Driftwood.  This is becoming my favorite place to celebrate special occasions.

 The surprises didn't end with the Davis cup tickets.  She also got Katy Perry tickets....just what she wanted!

 Then Jack and Debbie headed out to enjoy some Austin night life and we hosted a cousin dance off.
