Here is the whole slide show of the pictures for the floors and the rugs I have looked at so far. My favorite rug is the one that looks like a patchwork pattern.
The whole family is feeling the effects of not being in our own house, in our own beds. We are all a little cranky, and the 2 year old isn't the worst one sometimes.
We had several little weird things happen to us yesterday and we just had to laugh. Chris and I both headed to the house for different reason at lunch yesterday. While on the way home, the Le Sabre started overheating....fun! Good thing I was headed home too. So it is sitting in the front of the house waiting for a tow. Guess we will be carpooling the next few days.
We also noticed the floor crew hadn't demo's the entry way tile....hmmm wondering if they remembered that part. hope so!
Then we head to Culver's to grab some lunch before we ran to Lowe's to get some paint ordered. We accidently got someone else's orders...OOPS. Again we just have to laugh. Hope the teenage girls in front of us liked our burgers. We enjoyed theirs.
Then we headed to Lowe's. I ordered paint for the office/hallway area that I will be painting on Friday night and Chris ordered trim paint for the floor crew. That went well. Surprisingly I ended up only taking 1 hour for lunch.
After carpooling home and getting to see the first room with the laminte in it, we headed to dinner and then to the park to let Christian run around. Aunt Sassy met us at the park and chased Christian around. It let Mommy and Daddy have a few mintues to just sit down and rest a little. Aunt Sassy doesn't know how much we needed that.
Christian rewarded Aunt Sassy for her efforts with a sweet kiss, that luckily I captured on film.
We rewarded Christian with a visit to Starbucks were he got his very own shaken green ice tea with syrup (just like Mommie orders). I think it took him about 3 mintues to drink this down. He was busy on the park and needed a little post-park refreshment.
I can't express what a little trooper he has been through all this. He is a little confused when we stop by the house to check on the animals and we don't stay.
Hopefully tonight we can all sleep in our own beds and get a good nights sleep and the crankiness will go away.
